The “Champions of Industry” series, presented by The Sullivan School of Business and Technology, returns to Carroll University Mar. 5. The latest guest will be Aaron P. Jagdfeld, Chairman, CEO and President of Generac, as he joins Dean Tim Sullivan '75 for an in-depth discussion on leadership, innovation and technology.

As the company’s third CEO, Jagdfeld has been instrumental in transforming Generac from a backup generator manufacturer into a global energy technology leader with the mission to “Power a Smarter World.” Recognized as an expert on the North American power grid, he is frequently sought out for his insights on the subject.

Since becoming President in 2007, CEO in 2008 and Chairman in 2016, Jagdfeld has overseen Generac’s impressive growth into a $4 billion company. Under his leadership, Generac has diversified its portfolio to include clean energy solutions, connected devices and industrial power products, solidifying its position as a global energy technology innovator.

As with previous installments of The Champions of Industry series, Sullivan moderates the conversations, providing attendees an exclusive opportunity to engage directly with industry experts through audience participation. Each session covers a broad range of topics, highlighting each esteemed guest with insights into their industries and careers. The Mar. 5 event runs from noon - 1 p.m. in the Campus Center’s Stackner Ballroom on Carroll’s Campus.
